A spicy Turkish kebab of minced lamb grilled on skewers has roots in the Southern Turkish city of Adana and dates back potentially to the 12th century and nomadic grilling traditions.
This blend contains Aleppo Chilli, Sweet Red Pepper and Sumac amongst other delicious spices. Simply mix with minced lamb (or beef) and form into Kofte kebabs. Also great for marinating vegetables, especially aubergines.
Serve with some garlic yoghurt and big fat smile.
