Awarded 1-star Great Taste Award: Organic Red Wine Vinegar was characterised by judges as “a rather special red wine vinegar, appealing in its balance, palatability and interest with a most appealing rose-pink, cloudy colour, and a gently grapey, elusive aroma”. Fontana Formiello red wine vinegar is made in made in Naples, in the south of Italy, through the fermentation and the ageing of selected organic Italian grapes. This vinegar is unpasteurised, unfiltered, with no added sulfites, and is rich in live enzymes making up the nutritious “mother”. Packed in glass bottles with aluminium cap. Wine vinegar has a very old history in Italy where it has been prized since Roman times for its therapeutic properties and culinary uses.
