Organic Black Rice

Description

The Nerone black rice is grown only in certain parts of Italy’s Po valley and is prized for its fragrant aroma and texture. Black rice is a great source of iron and vitamin E. Similar to brown rice, the grain has a similar amount of fibre, and has a mild, nutty taste.
Rinse well. Use 1 cup rice to 3 cups of water, bring to the boil. Simmer for 30-35mins. Grain burst open when cooked. Drain & season.
